Mash up

It was Just five years ago, that Barbie was driving around the United States in a used Dodge Caravan minivan, begging garbage dumps to give her their scrap paper, before became the new sex-symbol for Apple Inc. She later on helped in the design of the iPod digital music player in October 2001, trying to use Apple design ideas to differentiate the company in highly competitive consumer markets. She said “So much time and work goes into making computers. I want them to be cared for.” As a result of her entrepreneurship, she took over Apple with $3,800 cash and is now richer than virtually any other woman anywhere in the world, including Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, and the chief executive of eBay, Meg Whitman. Her personal wealth is estimated at $1.5 billion or more. Now the leader of the entertainment and communications industry for almost six years, a rare achievement in a world of fancy and fad, "My desire has always been to be the leader in an industry." She started out from a modest background, working as Mary’s little lamb following her everywhere she went. Now she dominates the world's entertainment and communications industry, long been known for her intense focus on product design and marketing, but she added “I don’t design the same thing a lot of times.” “Don’t call it beige,” she corrected. “Blond.”
